چکیده
Aiming at improving the performance of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) system with low-grade steam as heat source, this work studied and optimized main operating parameters ORC system. The effects evaporation temperature, superheat degree, condensation temperature regenerator pinch difference on were obtained. optimization for is based indicators specific net power output, waste pollution, cycle exergy efficiency, total UA value (the product overall transfer coefficient area exchanger). results show that increase decrease can improve general but lead to weaker economic performance. optimal are determined 139°C, 4°C, 36°C 8°C, respectively, reaching output 114.73 kW, efficiency 37.10%. Besides, it indicated regenerative reach 13.6% additional compared without regenerator.

Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) enables power generation from lowto medium temperature heat sources. In an ORC, the organic medium shows different performances for different heat source temperatures. For a range of heat source temperatures, one temperature can be always identified corresponding to the best thermal match between the heat transfer fluid and working fluid. This temperature is defined ...

The paper proposes two alternative approaches for the design of a dynamic model for an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) to be used for the design of control and diagnostics systems. The model has been developed in Modelica language and simulated with Dymola. The two modeling approaches, based on moving boundary and discretization techniques, are compared in terms of accuracy, complexity and simulati...
